PLANETARY RESOURCE & DEFENSE.

MineSpace Inc. identifies itself as a planetary resource and defense firm. The phrase connects two complementary research directions: understanding and responsibly investigating resources beyond Earth, and improving the knowledge, autonomy and operational capabilities needed to study near-Earth objects.

The company’s current public mission focus is Mission Zero: a proposed autonomous spacecraft concept intended to reach asteroid Apophis, match its motion around the Sun and maintain companion flight for as long as practical. Our present public experiences are engineering studies, original visualizations and mission concepts—not evidence of a launched vehicle or completed asteroid rendezvous.

01 / PLANETARY RESOURCE

Understand what is there.

Asteroid material properties, remote observation, surface characterization, mission-enabling data and future resource investigation. A future resource opportunity must first be understood before collection, processing or practical use can responsibly be designed.

02 / PLANETARY DEFENSE

Understand what is moving.

Near-Earth-object observation, orbit analysis, navigation, autonomous operations, long-duration proximity flight and the engineering needed to keep instruments alongside a moving target. Apophis itself is not presented as an imminent impact threat.

A SPACECRAFT THAT STAYS.

The central question is not merely whether a spacecraft can briefly fly past Apophis. It is whether an autonomous system can arrive, identify the asteroid, match its heliocentric trajectory, establish a safe relative position and remain nearby over an extended campaign while meeting power, propulsion, communications, navigation and fault-management limits.

In this mission, “stay beside it” means sustained, controlled companion flight. It does not require attaching to the surface, and “forever” remains a long-term ambition rather than an operational guarantee. MineSpace’s interactive formation demonstrator illustrates control concepts but does not represent qualified flight software.

THE BRAND, THE FILM, THE MISSION.

The Frontier film expresses MineSpace’s identity through historical photographs and a live rendered universe. Historical space agencies and researchers receive source credit for their missions. The MineSpace 3D sequences are original conceptual illustration, and the film’s closing chapter identifies Mission Zero as an independent proposed mission.

Our public materials should maintain the same distinction everywhere: documented scientific fact, historical evidence, engineering analysis and company objective are different kinds of claims. Visitors can move from the historical film to an Apophis research guide and into our interactive mission environment without treating any one of those formats as a substitute for the others.

BUILD THE NEXT CAPABILITY.

MineSpace Inc. welcomes mission collaborators, engineering and research partners, investors, suppliers and organizations interested in studying the spacecraft and autonomy requirements for long-duration small-body exploration.

WHAT THE COMPANY NAME MEANS.

Is MineSpace a planetary resource and defense company?+

MineSpace Inc. describes its focus as Planetary Resource & Defense, joining research into off-Earth material and asteroid observation with spacecraft autonomy and near-Earth-object mission concepts.

Does Mission Zero mean Apophis will strike Earth?+

No. NASA rules out an Apophis impact for at least a century. MineSpace’s proposed companion mission is a study and exploration objective, not a response to an expected 2029 collision.

Has MineSpace flown a spacecraft to Apophis?+

No flight is claimed here. Mission Zero is the company’s proposed mission objective and the public simulations are illustrative.

Is The Frontier an official NASA film?+

No. It is an independent MineSpace cinematic that credits authentic historical mission photographs and distinguishes them from MineSpace’s simulated 3D scenes.
