LMC platform

Product families

A public product-family library for lunar construction materials, organized by what customers need to specify, compare, certify, and verify.

Product family library

Choose the material family before choosing the test path.

Each family has a different performance risk. Bricks need compression and dust release. Landing surfaces need plume and spall behavior. Joints need dust intrusion and re-seatability. LMC keeps those paths separate and comparable.

LMC-001Regolith bricks

Discrete blocks for surface infrastructure, berms, walls, robotic roads, and non-pressure construction uses.

LMC-002Sintered panels and tiles

Flat construction products where panel geometry, edge quality, flexural response, and handling matter.

LMC-003Landing and traffic surfaces

High-wear surface products for pads, roads, aprons, and traffic areas where dust emission becomes mission risk.

LMC-005Oxygen byproduct materials

Slag, glass, reduced regolith, and process residues that may become feedstock for construction products.

Family fit

One product can need more than one standard.

A landing-pad tile may need LMC-003 for surface behavior and LMC-008 for feedstock traceability. A shielding wall may need LMC-004 plus LMC-006 for joints. The family library helps customers choose the correct combination.

Brick + wallLMC-001 + LMC-004

For blocks used as part of a radiation wall or berm assembly.

Pad + dust jointLMC-003 + LMC-006

For replaceable landing-surface modules with seams or reseatable joints.

Byproduct + feedstockLMC-005 + LMC-008

For oxygen-extraction residue being converted into a construction product.

Repair + original productLMC-007 + family standard

For repaired lots or products with a published renewal path.
